Phase 1 of our app development process is our discovery phase. It usually takes between 4-6 days. During this phase we meet with you to understand your business need for a mobile app. We engage your key stakeholders in a half day workshop to gather the business requirements, map out the app, identify the components and estimate the project.
After the workshop we produce a set of wireframes. This illustrates how the user’s needs are met in the app. We then provide a detailed plan of how we will develop this, along with a timeframe and an estimate of how much it will cost.
The outcomes you can expect from the discovery phase are; your user experience captured in a set of wireframes and a detailed breakdown of the tasks required to build your app, along with timeframes and costs.

Phase 2 of our app development process is our development phase and is where your app is developed. At the outset we assign you a project manager. Your project manager will be your main point of contact throughout the project. They will ensure your app development runs as smooth as possible.
During the development phase we turn the user experience wireframes into a set of full-fledged user interface designs. This is when your app is brought to life and you get to see exactly what your users will experience with your app.
We work on a system of continuous integration, which means you can take a look at a new build every day as the project progresses. We give you our issue tracker database, so you can report any issues you encounter during the development.
The outcomes you can expect from the development phase is, your fully functioning app live on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Or, in the case of an enterprise app, your app integrated with your backend systems.
You will find out what your app will cost in phase one. In phase two you get to decide how you want to pay for this. We offer a three prong payment approach. This includes a fixed cost, time and materials cost and the cost of a virtual team. This pricing model can be tailored to suit your business need.
Once development of your app is complete, we recommend an app maintenance and support agreement to extend the life of your app. Our app maintenance and support packages are tailored to your business needs. They typically consist of an agreed number of days each month, and these days can be used as you see fit. Our support can include preventative app maintenance and/or reactive changes.
